Replacement and Warranty

ToolFox products are covered by a limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect, ToolFox will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product. This warranty is provided solely to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, incorrect installation, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Any tampering with the device hardware or software will void the warranty. Products damaged due to installation errors or use outside of their intended purpose are not eligible for warranty repair or replacement.

ToolFox products are designed to function with vehicle systems as they exist at the time of purchase and are warranted solely against manufacturing defects. ToolFox does not guarantee lifetime or uninterrupted functionality. Updates or modifications made by vehicle manufacturers, including Tesla, may affect compatibility or functionality and are outside of ToolFox’s control. These changes are not covered under warranty.

ToolFox provides best-effort support including ToolFox 3 firmware updates downloaded to the device via WiFi when feasible. However, such updates are not guaranteed and depend on Tesla’s system architecture and the technical complexity of maintaining compatibility. Support timelines and availability may vary based on system changes beyond our control.

ToolFox does not guarantee uninterrupted functionality or fitness for a particular purpose. In particular ToolFox 3 is provided as-is. While this device is designed to restore Supercharging access on salvage vehicles, Tesla may implement future firmware updates, security measures, or authentication methods that could affect compatibility. By purchasing ToolFox 3, you acknowledge this possibility and accept the risk that functionality may require updates or may become incompatible with future Tesla systems. Tesla recommends completing a High-Voltage Inspection through a official Tesla Service Center to reinstate Supercharging access on your vehicle permanently as long as your car can pass this inspection (or passes after Tesla performs additional repairs). This might be most suitable for individuals that require guarantees. Performing the official High Voltage Inspection at Tesla is the only way to guarantee that your car will continue to supercharge permanently.

For warranty claims, customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the warranty process.

General

All purchases made through our store are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items, including those purchased during sales, promotions, or with promotional codes. Promotions and discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

Any purchaser or user of the ToolFox 3 or any other products offered by ToolFox releases ToolFox and all its related companies or parties from any responsibility regarding its use. We are not responsible for any modifications the manufacturer could do to your car. ToolFox cannot be held responsible for any problems related to the installation of the ToolFox 3 or any other ToolFox product on the vehicle.

Shipping

Packages ship within 2 business days after the order is placed, we strive to ship as fast as possible. Shipping transit and delivery estimates are subject to the carrier chosen at checkout and carrier delays. The customer shall be responsible for all tariffs, value-added taxes (VAT, Sales Tax County Tax or State Tax), and any other taxes or fees levied by the destination country or jurisdiction based on the delivery address.
